Farm Raised Airsoft

THE FARM

Beaverdam Airsoft is situated on a hay farm in north western Hanover County, Virginia. According to county documentation, the farmhouse itself is around 100 years old. It has been used for cattle and chickens in the past, but is used for growing and storing hay currently.

The two large barns on the property were once used for egg farming and still have the old, non functioning heat lamp wiring in some places.

The registration office has a basement underneath it which was used to keep stored eggs cool during the hotter months of the year.

There are many old barbed wire fences running along edges of fields and into the woods. These were for cattle pastures and have mostly been taken over by woods if not replaced with hay.

THE ARENA

Among the 100 acres, 8-10 acres make up the current playable arena at Beaverdam Airsoft. The arena is all woodlands and features a creek running through the center of it. It includes one large base with one smaller bases.

FOB Apples is the main base and features two bunkers with a trench dug between them. In addition it features wooden half walls and forms of cover to use.

PB Oak is a smaller base with only wood half walls and cover to offer a bit of protection. They are mainly to facilitate an attacking force.

The arena is in the southern most corner of the property and is not connected to the main parking and registration area. Players are required to walk between the two areas and are high encouraged to bring extra water, BBs, and other gear with them to the staging area so they don’t need to return to their vehicles between games.
